Doorways is about transition — those moments in life when you feel you are standing between what has been and what is beginning to take shape.

The strong red and orange forms at the top of the painting represent energy, emotion, and lived experience. They hold warmth and intensity, while the cooler turquoise shapes below offer a sense of calm, reflection, and space to pause. Together, they speak to the balance we often search for during times of change.

The layered textures and structured blocks suggest boundaries and openings — places where one chapter closes and another quietly opens. Nothing here feels fixed or final; instead, the painting reflects the feeling of moving through change rather than arriving at a destination.
